great colors, and the 'arrangement' of the children is really good. only slight neg for me is the distracting strong shapes in the background, nevertheless, great shot.

The casual, happy poses of the children are wonderful, but I agree about the backround. I'd try cloning out the "blue hole" area, I think this is what's distracting. Otherwise, wonderful capture.

Very nice spontaneous summer shot!

This is a nice relaxed capture of the kids. They are so often naturals for the camera. As to the 'distraction', I find the excessive blurring (seems computer manipulated) is the actaul distraction. If the white part is a house and was less blurred, the photo would seem to have a more natural setting.

Wow, an 80mm f/1.9 lens really blurs the background! If they were in front of trees or something a strong bokeh might be nice, but I too find the bluriness of the house distracting.

 

BTW, Mr. King, is the exposure date on this really in "1985"? I find it hard to believe you've been using the same body/lens for that long..... :-) (Equipment details for this photo and your recent photos are the same!)
