  1. You have really captured some amazing light here and managed the HDR perfectly Robert. The image contains all that wonderful detail yet you have also preserved nice contrast. Always a challenge with HDR, but you handled it well.

The angle and quality of the light came out really well in this photo and it really enhances the pleasing forms of this mushroom. The B&W is a great choice too because it seems to really draw attention to the texture and form without the distraction of a color. My only suggestion for improvement would be to try to minimize the one hot spot in the upper middle area of the mushroom group by very slightly burning over it so it isn't quite as bright compared to the surroundings. But either way, it is a lovely image Lester.

Wonderful attention to detail in the composition! Very nice sky and you have controlled the shutter speed very well for this shot. Thanks for sharing David.

Very painterly. Wonderful soft colors and textures. But my favorite part is the subtle backlighting on the stem of the flower. Very well done.

Strong work Anne & Runar! I really love how the background has such nice texture to go along with what almost seems like motion blur. And the foreground flower is perfectly composed within that backdrop.

Not your typical weather for a photo of a flower field but it really works well. The dark sky goes very nicely with the bed of scarlet flowers. Very skillfully blended too. Thanks for sharing Janegbert.

Impressive Michal! The form and colors really work for me on this one. Especially when viewing the large version. The hidden little "eyeballs" (at least that was my first impression from some of the forms) are great and really take this image to the next level. As compared to your other recent posts (tension and liquefied) this one is definitely my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Nice abstract Nebojsa. I think it works better in color in this photo compared with the B&W version. It has nice soft tones and a pleasing splash of green. But both are nice photos with good choice in cropping.

Lovely color contrast and saturation Francesco. The combination of the brightly lit mustard fields in the foreground with the dramatic and darkening clouds creates a very striking image indeed.

This one is fabulous Juan. Just the right amount of sharpness and beautiful background. It has a very painterly effect. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Certainly interesting Nebojsa. It has the feel of a large, dramatic propaganda poster that people are standing in front of. Maybe because of the handpainting? It certainly makes the viewer think and try to interpret it their own way.

  4. Very strong image Dana. And the tint works very well. The curve of the road is composed perfectly. I think if you were standing even a few feet to the right or left the result would not have been this good. I can see you pay very close attention to detail in the processing of you images and the results speak for themselves. Congrats.

Amazing detail in this little guy. And technically perfect capture in every way. Thanks for inspiring us.

  5. I really like the composition you chose for this shot. Works very well with the white stone against that dark blue sky. My only suggestion for improvement would be to run the image through a de-noise application or pluggin to reduce some of the digital noise. The image itself is very strong though, Arup. Thanks for sharing.
