I like the soft textures in the background. Arguably there could be more separation between background and foreground because the color and lightness is very similar. But the way you have it now makes for a very calming image.

Very pleasing texture to go along with the vibrant colors. Would make a great home decor piece, hanging on a wall. Strong work Tony!

Beautiful light. I like how you controlled the exposure on this photo. It's almost monochromatic. And the low lying clouds are really illuminated nicely.
-
Very artistic Pierre. Makes you think about it and each viewer probably comes up with their own interpretation.

Wonderful image Alf. I really enjoy the shafts of light filtering in. And the vignette that you applied works really well for this image.

Nice composition Laurent. You can really see the business end of this work boat but at the same time you have included such beautiful sky and colors to make it pleasing to the eye.

This is really creative. It seems more like a painting than a photo. I'm not sure how you controlled the exposure on that to balance between the sun and the flower, but it came out really well.

At first glance the buds in the very middle look like gemstones of some sort. And the little yellow tips around the outside came out really well too. Nice work Robert.

What a interesting photo. Great idea to take a unusually long exposure (did you use a filter of some sort?) to create that exploding cloud effect. Beautiful location and you took a very creative picture of it Simone.

Great choice for B&W Niki. The light falling on the walking person is timed perfectly to just create the outline. And there is just enough detail in the darker background walls to keep it interesting and makes you want to explore the entire scene with your eyes.

I didn't even notice the background at first. It just seemed to blend in so naturally like leaves. It really does balance out the photo nicely though to have those wispy "leaves". Lovely continuation of your flower series. Thanks for sharing Radu.

I love the foreground. Such a good compliment to the sky with strong colors and lighting. It always hurts my back to get down so low for an image but clearly the results are worth it :-)

Lovely portrait John. Very good lighting on both the subject as well as the background.

Wonderful B&W tones and great composition. And the other artist's work is very impressive as well!

Beautiful contrast in this image Slavomir. You really controlled that well in the processing. And very well balanced composition.

What a great image. I think the aquatic grasses in the middle are my favorite part. What wonderful texture, especially when viewing the larger image. And the reflection came out so perfectly. Thanks for sharing Sherry.

This flower really pops out of the background nicely. Did you have to stack multiple images to get that sort of depth of field? It's great because the entire flower is so sharp yet the background is very nicely blurred. Great shot either way.

This is great Ruud. I really have no idea whether you desaturated the rest of the image by hand or simply isolated this scene to show this color contrast as it existed. That's what makes it so great in my opinion. You have a really good eye for spotting a photo in the world around you.

Great lighting and nice work including a very interesting variety of rocks near and far. Certainly plenty to look at in the large version. The slightly longer exposure in this one compared to some of your other surf shots lends it a very peaceful feel. Is this one down here in So Cal also? Thanks for sharing.

The sky is really interesting in this one. I wish you had posted a larger version to see it more clearly. The sunburst is really good and looks like some really pleasing colors. Well done.

I like the composition choice on this one. The rock in front center certainly holds your interest and everything seems sharp up close to the distant horizon.

You just don't come across skies like that every day. Amazing. I bet it only lasted for a few seconds too before losing the color. Nice job on getting the shot.

Nice shot Wanghan. I really like the golden quality of the side lighting. Very good color balance on all these shots of snow and rock too. It's hard to get that right.

Wonderful study of the color blue. It's hard to pull of an image like this and get the exposure, color balance, and contrast just right but you nailed it. Nice work Joao.
