Thank you. I may have rated you a little high, maybe it's a 5/5 instead of 6/5 but you get an extra point today for looking at the edges of your composition and getting all of the window frames in the shot. Thanx...;)...J

I am humbled by the accolades....;)...J

wish it was more abstract. kind of generic

John I don't know what to say, I'm not going to rate this one .... But reallly, is it supposed to look like this? If so can you tell me why?...;)...J

John, Maybe the original looks better but this one is out of focus. is that on purpose for point or what? Looking forward to your pithy response....;)...J

well it certainly has only intrinsic form with little or no attempt at pictorial representation or narrative content.

Thank you for your comments.
Eddie I think you're right about the vertical being better but this is pretty much full frame.
Alexander, they only look dangerous...;)
Katherine, When I see this picture of a little boy and girl, I don't think of mass homocide, I think of playing Lone Ranger in the backyard when I was a child. We teach our children gun safety and that there is a reason for the 2nd ammendment to the constitution of the United States of America. I would gladly kill or die for my children or my country if need be, and I try to teach this to my children as well.
Thank you again...;)...J

Nikos, Nice job...;)...J

I like the symmetry and the colour and the lines of the steps and building, the only drawback for me, is the brightness of the lights ~ just a little too bright...;)...J

Exploring my world & gettin' "Lost in Texas"....
Thanx for your precious time...;)...J

The scene is taken on the woman's grandfathers farm. Though it is about 20 minutes from the closest real town I wouldn't say it is "in the wild". You say you grew up on the farm but have made a correlation between "farm", "outdoors" and "wild". "The country", in Oklahoma, to me, means; the family farm. Although there are wide open spaces here it is rare that you find one without a fence. Fences in America are literally everywhere. I particularly like this one though because it gives depth to the photograph. The "rubbish" is a bit of the tree that had been cut. I almost took this out of the picture but left it in as it brackets the main subject along with the tree stump. The field to the left was more of the same in this picture but with the fence further off in the distance. I suppose this image can be looked at as the urbanization of the country as there is a mcdonalds in every town over 8,000 pop., and everyone wants to claim a piece of the pie as their own(i.e.) fences. And If you think that sounds odd, try visiting a lake in N.Texas where you can't see the lakes because the land has been bought fenced and "improved"....;)...J
