Very great feedback! I am so new to this new camera I am stuggling alot with proper noise reduction!
I have been using DPP to edit my raws and not getting the results I am after. I am thinking of trying Photo Ninja after reading good reviews. I did not like lightroom!
I used to shoot on a d70 nikon and have recently finally been able to save enough for a canon 6d and its back to basics on raws! my workflow has been turned upside down! do you have any siggestions for noise reduction software? There is alot of data I have for the shadow detail (this is 2 blended expousers, the trainlight was much different then the ambient light) and I will do a small print first. Thats a grand idea!

A tributary stream to the South Fork of the Sol Duc. This river is home to
the most important fish in the Northwest, the Steelhead. There is something
about the Olympic rain forest the continues to bring me back. It is a place
full of water, tranquility, and untouched wilderness. I hope this image
conveys that to my viewer. Cheers and constructive feedback is greatly
appreciated. I am always trying to develop as a photographer, even if my
gear is outdated :p

I did not shoot it horizontal. I was racing agaisnt the sun and was actually on a coast guard jetty when I took this. Just after I got the expouser I was politely asked to leave, which comes with the territory I guess. I shoot with a d70, so the resolution of my camera doesnt really allow me to make a good horizontal crop out of a vertical image. In addition, there was some distracting elements out of the frame. I do see what you are saying though. Thanks for the critique.

Thank you for the critique. I didnt think to crop it the first time through in post, but you are both correct. Yes, there is also some dust spots. I must have uploaded the wrong file, as i have addressed those in the PSD. I will def re-crop before i go to print. Thank you for the kind words.

Need some practice. I think this shot works, but needs work :) A lower
iso would have helped but I had no tripod with me.
