What a wonderful structure. I really get a feeling of the light bright, yet immense, atmosphere from your photograph

Beautiful work. The inclusion of the boat house adds a totally new dimension to the landscape.

Your portfolio is always a feast of colour. I love this one's abstract qualities too -if you hadn't entitled it 'Water tower', I would have had a hard job figuring out its scale - it could be a downtown city skyscraper or a micro-industrial bolt!

So beautiful! You must have felt a magical tingle as you saw this sun rise. Cropping seems to be the main issue of critique here...yet this version is still my preferred. Empty space on the left? Poor little daisies trying so hard to mimic the glow of the sun! Just like this is how I would want this on my wall!

Fantastic photo! Makes me smile :) The detail too is amazing - the rough texture of her tongue and slobber on the cheek!

My favourite spot. Any comments are welcome and appreciated.

Beautiful soft colouring. The castle is still immense, but in an unassuming way.

Raining leaves...mysterious but beautiful

Good angle to get the Lion's head against the sky but still include some detail of the building and vegetation behind.

So elegant but fiery too!

The colours of the lights and the light casts on the pillars are beautiful. Perfect handling of the exposure too.

Perfect timing! Original idea

Thanks for all your comments. My daffodils looked very cheerful on the kitchen windowsill with the sun shining through, but not bright enough to handhold the camera and get a sharp photograph. So this was a compromise.
My 'technique' was simply to use a longish shutterspeed- 1/13th at 300mm (small-ish aperture helped achieve this), and then panned upwards following the vertical centre leaf.

So beautiful! The pink sand reminds me of my home, Bermuda. Where was this taken?

So beautiful. On the one hand the scene seems so calm and peaceful, yet the movement and cool blue colour makes me think of an icy arctic gale.

Fantastic composition. I'm pleased I'm sitting looking at the photo with a mug of warm tea - seeing the frozen 'fingers' of the tree looming high over the walker gives me a real chill!

Beautiful abstract. It certainly is art. What I particularly love about this is the complete lack of scale. Even having stared at it for a few minutes I don't know if it is micro, close-up or even an aerial!

Nice capture of the details on the street.
