Hi Tony,
Beautiful work. You nailed this one. Love it!
-
Nicely done! Love it.

This one looks great Brent! You definitely had the right light and this view looks way more interesting than the view I saw, which was from the bottom of the cyn +/- a mile from the confluence with wire pass. Great composition.

Beautiful image. The water's edge and the pointed rock bottom center lead the eye in to the frame, and make it a pleasant journey.

Nice image Brent. Love the B&W treatment and the light....brings ou t all of the detail with no blown highlights. Kudos.

Nice capture of wp. You caught it during some nice diffused light. You're lucky to have all that in your back yard! I was just out that way for a month but didn't get there. How was the road?

Tony, you made excellent use of wide angle to create a strong foreground with interest everywhere the eye moves through the frame. Nice light too. Well done.

Interesting how about half prefer the the shadowed version and the other half prefer the more evenly lighted version. Me, I still like the evenly lighted one better. To my eye, the first morning light before t he sun hits is beautiful beyond comparison. But, as a friend says.... Some like blondes and others prefer brunettes.

I posted a similar image taken in pre-dawn light a while back. I
wonder what you think of this light vs the other one. Arrow over to
the right to compare. Thanks for looking. Best Regards,
David

Thanks for the comments everybody. I stand Corrected, the prominent peak here is "Lone Pine Peak". Mt. Whitney, though taller, is off to the right of the frame and less prominent because it's further away.
