Bucksin Gulch

I really hope you've framed this one!! It is soooo beautiful.  Excellent detail; impressive and realistic colour; my eye travels from the patch of wild flowers in the bottom centre......marvels at the massive drop....and then is pleased to see that beautiful sky.  I know this is one of the most dangerous 'hikes', if you managed it, congrats to you!! I thoroughly love this image. Excellent work. Love it!! This would be top marks from me.

You have transmitted the massiveness of this formation by including the little bush at the bottom.  This looks like a midday capture because there is little shadowing.

Thanks.. I appreciate you taking time to comment on my photo. This was actually taken towards evening but the clouds filtered out most of the harsh contrast you'd normally have here. I was able to open up some of the shadow in Lightroom.

This one looks great Brent! You definitely had the right light and this view looks way more interesting than the view I saw, which was from the bottom of the cyn +/- a mile from the confluence with wire pass.  Great composition.

Thanks for the comments David. There was a guy that tried to walk out from the Wave in the dark 3 or 4 years ago and fell in. Hikers found him the next morning. I was trying to figure out where he might've fallen and I stumbled on this view. Did you hike all the way through when you were there?
