The beautiful Rainbow Parc Andre Cote - Candiac

I think I hit the jackpot with this one. I withstood the rain and covered up my camera as I remained outside. As the rain disappeared, the rainbow showed up and an intense light, as if the sun had a telephoto or magnifying lens, lit up the landscape with this very warm light.

I have been going to this Candiac park for years and years and never encountered anything like this before.

Wow!!!  That is an amazing shot. I wish I was there.

Amazing phenomenon indeed, and capture, bravo!
I try scrolling down the screen and i think that with a "generous" crop (until the fence is all out of the frame) i focus more to the rainbow.

I thought I commented on this the other day.  It must have been on Facebook.  So just for the record, I'll say here that this is magnificent!

I didn't think the inclusion of the fence would do anything for such a beautiful image, but it does!  It gives me somewhere real amongst the surreal light and illuminated tree's crowned with the rainbow from which to admire this amazing spectacle.

If I were a stranger to your work, I'd guess that you added the rainbow after the fact.  Obviously that's not the case.  Clearly, though, the rainbow's position in the frame couldn't be better.  

 

I agree wholeheartedly with Alf's comments about the fence.  In addition, it obviously leads the viewer's eye to the miraculous combination of dark clouds, illuminated trees and the magnificent rainbow.

I absolutely love so many things about this image, first is the rainbow that seems absolutely perfect in its position in the image as well as the colors that coordinate with the landscape below. It truly is a very symmetrical piece, and it's absolutely amazing. There are a few things that somewhat bother me though, one is the dark portion at the bottom. I wish there were just a little more light in this area, but overall very strong piece.
