I also thought that this might work better in black and white. Not sure about that tree on the left side. Situation has been captured well anyway, Yuri!

The contrast between the sharp detail of the leaves in the foreground and background is somehow interesting.

The light reflected by the sun umbrella is a bit harsh. Good composition.

Good composition and colours. The tilted horizon spoils it a bit, though, and so does the stone in the foreground which has been cut.

A cute one :)

Of course I can, I just didn't notice that they were not straight (anyway, less than 1 degree, now that I have measured) :)
Not sure about your cloning out of that thing on the left side: I think its presence adds to the "oddity" of the subject.
Thanks for having taken the time to stop by!

What's the subject of this shot? It's not clear to me.

This would have been a really good shot, for the light and point of view. But the blurriness of the background seems too artificial, looks like you've adjusted it with some image editor.

It's interesting seeing the reflection of the sunset on the car.

I don't mind not seeing the adults here, I think it gives the right perspective of the world of the child. It just bothers me a little the fact that it's not straight.

Appreciate your open and honest critiques!

If feasible from the point where you've shot this, I would have left some more water in the image and some less field in the foreground.

Simple and elegant shot.

Beautiful portrait. I have just the impression, though, that the plane of sharpest focus is on the mouth/beard and not on the eyes (especially his left one), which bothers me a little.

Pleasant composition and colours. The big area covered by the sea seems to work for me here.
-
Cute shot. I am wondering what those stripes on the left of the frame are coming from.

Lovely graded colours in the sky and crisp detail on the foregroung. Wondering whether a less centered composition might have helped to add some dynamic.

The lines dropping to the left are a bit disturbing to me.

Alexandre, thanks for stopping by to leave your comment, I appreciate that!
I am afraid that the most of the detail has been lost during the JPEG compression, since the original scan full size has a good detail (considering that I had to shoot this handheld at f5.6, which is not the sharpest aperture on my 50mm lens).
Maybe I should have reduced the image size instead of using a higher compression level.
