  1. Hugh,

As is my custom, when I can, I love to return visits to my site and check out the 'visitors' work.

I am soooooooooo blown away by your portfolio. Especially the street shots. So compelling and touching. You obviously have a great heart and old soul. I am humbled by your work and your sweet comments on my work, really knock me over. From such an artist like yourself I fell it is a blessing.

If you decide to publish your street stuff I would buy it! I have been thinking about someday publishing a collection of photographers I admire. Folks like you and John Crosley for example.

Please do call me or write if/when you travel to these parts.

I live about 30 minutes drive north of the Golden Gate bridge. I would so love to haunt some San Francisco streets with you. Or just slug back a few gallons of java.

Best to you. and thanks again for the nice comments on my work.

    Cheers

This is quite nice - I like the texture and sense of 'right now' .Good feeling. I see you do a lot of experimentation. Many varied styles.

I like this just for its own sweet softness of statement. It has a calm, deliberate energy to it. Its a great way to use motion. Nice work - I might add some sat, but thats all.

    cheers

John - I nearly fell off my chair when I saw this!!!! Fantastic! It is as though these folks are 'realizing' thier inner dreams through the mural painting. (my own interpretation)

Sports and desert. Two mainstays in American life. This is a lovely and fun image. Again - it takes a wizard to see and capture like this. Cheers,

    and by the way-

How the heck do you get all your street people to color-coordinate with thier surroundings? You must travel with a gifted stylist. LOL

  2. The fact that the 'weeping guy'(my interpretation) is in businesss attire is all the better for my imagination. The yellow Chron boxes are so eye-catching and pervasive in SF You did well to spot and capture this moment.

So entertaining and expresive on many levels. Bravo again!

  3. John, like i said - you have that magic wizard-like ability to see these jewels of urban realities. It takes many skille=s and talents to work in harmony to be able to look-see-do at the rate you work. man, 2 hours? wow!

Besides the obvious graphic elements holding hands here, you have a way of shooting that leaves the dignity and humanity intact. This is no small doing. It comes from a big heart and highly developed skills. Bravo!

  4. Wonderful catch here. I think the energy - so diverse- and varied expresions were caught at the peak of the doing. You do have a knacK for finding these umcommon moments/ juxtapostions and capturing them so well.

You street work is poetry. It is evident that you care about your world and are blessed with the magic of wit and grace.

I remain a faithful fan of your work. Cheers, yur bud-

nice work. you have many sweet images. This is a great idea. If you took it one step further put it on a stick in the wind. I'll hold the stick if you need. I wonder...if this might be a design for martial arts stars.

As for the light, I think you couild add a 'global' light source in PS. Or change the skin tones randomly.

all and all it looks fine like this. some people are soooo picky.

    keep shooting.

    cheers,

    Lee
