for me..my personal taste...it is way to bright...but its already cool agaib

it looks like if it was some hours before the sun is gone..and instead of beeing read to yellow the sky is greenish blue here...

 

but its great...i really mean that

chamnge the frame...it doesnt fit

otherwise i wont mind hanging this in my room printed on iao a3 ...

 

if i was you i would have tried some other fov...the curved shore and this house and trees are giving really cool changes for geometrical experiements...and then the light...waaa..how greaaat :)

but i cant go along with what wa smentioned above...the uplightning of the beach..i would turn brighness down for -5 and contrast up for +5..maybe saturation too if id would change anything by using ps.

for exposures..firts it depends on the iso

 

but with such a colorfull sky id choose iso 200 (is that the lowest d70 is able setting?...i think so)

 

i dont know how briht this light is actually

but id think 10" 15" 20" 25" 30" sekonds for triing will work and then lets see how it turns out...i can operate my d1x from the laptop...so i see the result in the same moment :D......also bulbb would work but this is up to yur experience with lonbgexposures at night ..

 

but this here looks soooo cool!

if that didnt happen i think it would be a very well done shot...did it very well

 

but to me it would be a bit too boring ;p

you maybe could do this:

 

 

use a very strong nd filter

 

position the things that way that you can go from the chair to the coach and behind this....wooden wall there where all the drinks are..

 

so now use this bulbb function and an nd filter that will allow you to make a 2 minutes exposure here^^

use a flash to make you visible ^^

 

then go to the chair..have a seat...use the flash and the same thing with the couch

 

and then do some channeling

 

you could also do this with 4 shots

 

the long exposure without useing the flash but the walking...and then do 3 more shots ...cut you out and paste you in again..abut when doing it this way you will need to stand where you were when you did the longexpose..just to make it look right...so ill think id go with the first version ^^

as a thumbnail itlookslike some broke nglas..like if you threw astone at it..becaise there is the lightreflaction that makes you think that the "glas is bend a bit"

i am living 2 up to 3 hours driving time away from venice :)

but havent been there for about...uh...cant remeber...15 years? :D

 

maybe ill go there once this summer...not to venice actually..the water is too dirty for my taste :) ..and somewhere were there arent all the guys from carinthia,..lots of austrians spend their holiday there :)

 

ive heared from a good friend who visited the states for quite a long time that american people seem to think that venice is the most romantic place on earth..and paris too of course...that is what she was told everywhere she came ...hehe...of course not every person in the states does think that way..but i am sure you know what i mean *G*

 

i hate the sound of the french language..and i cannot spell the words..i dont know much..but anyways..i dont like it hehe

 

and the only thing i remember about venice is that it stinks xD
