Yeah, I agree - that guy (my husband) really ruins it. He was good though at driving me around trying to find shots. Too funny...  Other pics in this portfolio are sans human beings - which is a bit more appropriate for the location.

I can't really say why, but this photo is so impressive to me - maybe it's the texture in the snow or the lines of the tire tracks, or the story behind the person in the scene... the composition and tones are just perfect.
