Dick and Cliff,
Please expand on why the sample pictures are not quite to your standards ?? I am kinda new to digital cameras and to me the pictures looked good. What are you guys looking for??
Thanks much...

I have pushed agfa 100 to 200/250 using diafine developer and very happy with results. search the archives for diafine developer and there are interesting information about this developer.

How about Kodak Ekatchrome 200 ?? Could this be pushed to 400 ??

I am considering purchase a Horseman 6x12 rollfilm holder. My dilema
is that I've never owned any rollfilm holder before.
So my question is, what are the things I should check for ?? What are
the parts that tend to breakdown with this type of holder.
Thanks much in advance...

Any plusses doing your own E-6 process ??
To me, I do not have to resort to anger management whenever the lab scratches my slides. This is the main reason I resorted to home processing as every now and then, the lab would scratch a roll.
Though this is the only plus I could think off, this is enough for me to go through the labor of home processing.

Grant,
Thanks for sharing your test in regards to Diafine. I use Panf (120) quite and have using ID11 to develop my films. I am generally happy with the grain but I thought about using another developer to improve sharpness. I'll give Diafine a try and exposed Panf @ 80.

Terence,
How high did you climb (suppose I should ask how much rise your camera has).....just a joke...
Be looking forward to see your pictures....

I think we have to be open minded about photography (or anything else for that matter). I heard arguments (gazillions of it) digital against traditional, arguments about film x agains film y and so on and so on. Perphaps for some this is not what they are looking for in this forum OR perhaps this is not the reason why they love photography.
But, we there are people here that enjoy photography and the major portion of it is fiddle with equiptments/hardware. So let them talk about what they enjoy the most. They might or might not be interested in the final product....but really that is their choice. Some photographers live and die with TRI-X and D-76, but this is what they enjoy and these are what they believe are the tools needed to put into print what they see as beautiful or interesting.
In summation, we have to give room for what folks like to talk about or fuss about for that matter. We do not have to agree with they prefer, but, then again who are we to judge ??
Just let folks talk about what they want...it is our choice to agree with them/disagree with them or just ignore it....

I accidedentally exposed AGFA APX 100 at ISO 32 (meant to expose it 64). Has anybody processed this film at this speed ?? I generally use Rodinal and ID11. Please furnsih your development time/dilution at this speed. Or, if you any other ideas on how to correctly processed this film will be great.
<p>
Thanks in advance !!

Thanks for all the info on the lens.
<p>
Well, I did drive an hour to get a first hand look at the lens. What
I found out was that the lens was single coated (there was only one
color showing from light reflecting from the lens), sets in copa1 1
shutter, F5.6-64. Michael Briggs recommended an excellent site for
Fujinon lenses (which gave me the single/multi coat test technique).
<p>
Again, thanks for all your input !!

Sorry for the typo....I meant Fujinon 210W F5.6. Thanks again.

Hello,
<p>
I searched the archives but was unsuccessfull in getting the info I was looking for.
<p>
Does anybody have any information to share about this Fujinon 210W F5.6 lens ?? Is this a multi coated lens ?? How hefty is this lens ??
Sharpness wise, is this in par with the Nikkors/Rodenstock/Schneider lenses ??
<p>
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
<p>
Thanks in advance !!

Wayne,

I do not if you are staying in Denver and commuting to
Evergreen/Conifer area. But if you are in Denver, try Denver Pro
Photo corner of Cherokee St. and Alameda. From I25 freeway, get off
on Alameda and head east. Once you get past the bridge, the light is
Cherokee and turn north. They are open on Saturdays until 3pm. Good
supply of film of all formats.

Got mine 3 years ago and have used this meter a lot. I've had no
problems with this meter used both as a flash meter and also as an
everyday meter. If I need to buy another meter, I would not hesitate
buying another one.

Mike,
<p>
No they are not the same emulsion. I've been also keeping an eye as
to when this film would be available here in the states...I've been
told by my local dealer that perhaps another month or so.

A Professional Photo Service located at 6801 S. Emporia St., Greenwood Village. Their number is (303)792-2772. Drop you film in the morning before 12 and it will be ready around 4:30. Very good job. Please look for Rick.

I would recommend Sunpak 555. I have used this flash with my Mamiya 645. One of the main consideration I had during the time of purchase is the price of this flash compared to its METZ counterparts. If you decide to use wide angle lenses such as 45mm, there is an optional diffuser available for this lens. For me, Sunpak 555 is simple, but good enough to do its job.

I use Sunpak 555 with both Mamiya 645 and Nikon N90 have been very happy with results.

Hello,
I have a Saunders MXL6x7 enlarger used mainly to print 645 format
films. Due to weight problems with Mamiya 645 during hiking, I have
been considering getting either a FUJI 6x7 or FUJI 6x9 rangefinder
cameras. I would prefer to get the 6x9 format, but my main concern is
printing negatives/slides with the said enlarger. Aside from the
obvious cropping of the 6x9, is it really possible to print a 6x9
using a 6x7 enlarger ?? Thanks in advance !!
