I strongly agree with your opinion about the first photo: it's more appealing. The second one is - imho - a bit too much post produced, and the contrast between the team and the background is a bit too much. I think you could work on the white balance of the first to achieve a more natural result. Ciao, G.

I find this shot, and its point of view, appealing, I think that the conversion in a harsh bw suits very well the subject. compliments, ciao, G.

I find this shot very interesting for its mood and timing. Maybe, in my humble opinion, it has been shot with a bit too much sky. Anyway I like it, ciao, G.

Another little, exquisite masterpiece. Compliments Radu, ciao, G.

A strange vision, appealing indeed in it's careful composition. The colors, their distribution, the geometrical forms, everything is pictorially well studied and placed by the photographer that surely knows Kandinsky's studies of triangles. Compliments, ciao, G.

I find this landscape appealing, although, in my humble opinion, the lower left part is a bit too burned. Thanks for sharing, ciao, G.

where primary subject and context are caught in a perfect storytelling shot. There's drama here, and sadness and a mistery touch too. One of your best, John. Ciao, G.

thank you for your comment and for the suggestion about cropping the top part. This one was shot when I saw the juxtaposition of the advert on the background with the sad looking woman's face in the foreground. I decided to frame the shot with the woman almost relegated in the bottom just to emphasize the context (how desolate and almost lost she seemed to my eyes). Following your kind and useful suggestion I will give a try to a cropped version, although I usually, if not always, leave the shots untouched.
Thank you so much for your comments, ciao, G.

This one should be seen larger. It's an interesting shot where, imho, history, reality and imagination well mingle together to convey great mood. Thanks for sharing, ciao, G.
