I'm of two minds on this. On one hand, the darkness hides much of the stunning details that certainly exist in this moment. Yet, the darkness accentuates cloud details and falling water.... OK, I'll go with "great shot."

Electrifying!

This harkens back to still lifes of old. Classic composition and marvelous sense of depth.

Working on a new way of seeing.

I was so disoriented in this section of hell that I was looking for something to ground me. The symmetry of the doors gave it to me ... for a moment.
I agree that the photograph has issues (honestly not one of my best) but I wanted to convey the "convergence" (thank you, Michael) of chaos and order. To James's point - because these were previously classrooms, the light is very well distributed throughout the rooms. At the time of the Khmer Rouge, these rooms were converted to departmentalized cells.

An undeniable, yes!

Nicely composed with subtle beauty.

I like the desaturated reds. I tend to over saturate these shots but your treatment ages the photo nicely.

I feel the history of this. I like it a lot.

I particularly like the sweeping tones of his hat. The ear may be a bit affected though.

"Gritty" might work better if you brought down the highlights in his top and walkway.

Lighting suggestions welcome.

Shadows a bit too dark.

A bit over-saturated for my tastes.

I understand how you took a lot of time to compose this photo but it has been repeated here again and again. It lacks originality.

This is a great capture and she has a wonderful smile ... yet the brim of the hat is overexposed and detracts from the image.

A view from a different angle.

Your blending skills are something to marvel at. I'm impressed and you've given me some great ideas. Thank you.

I like the composition but it needs a bit of sharpening.
