Welcome to Pnet, Victor.  I know that there are a lot of people that like this type of photo, personally I find them a little bit too 'unsubstantial'. I prefer to have a little bit more contrast, and definition.

I like the colors on this one Diane.. it looks very natural.  Pretty rose.

I think you did a superb job balancing everything out in this shot. The shutter speed to get the texture of the water, and the framing is just perfect.

I don't think you could have made a better shot! The lighting is perfect and the subject about as intriguing as you can get :-) He has remarkably clean glasses..

Matt, I like the rocks, and the sky..and the selective coloring.  I would however, have preferred not to have the cyclist so centered. I think it would have been cool if you had a wide angle to use that would allow for a lot more space in front of the rider. Cheers, Haig
