    I do not know if it was possible to include some object in this image which would give some clue to what it is (like a water boundary, or some floating leaf for instance). Right now (OK, so I am slow :) it is kind of hard to figure it out. Having said that - good shot !

    Actually - I do not think they look pasted onto background, rather like window in some other space. Certainly it is not a perfect work - but a very sound attempt nonetheless - 6/6.

    Hooray, finally a sunrise image without filters and dramatic skies (I freely admit to be a serious offender :)

     

    Nice light - I always have difficulties getting up before sunrise - but never regret it: there is some magic in the early morning light (the proof - see above :)

    Maybe the contrast could be a bit better controlled here - but the image is interesting nonetheless. A bunch of mixed feelings when viewing it, for sure.

    OK, so we have seen a google of Petra shots before. So what ? It doesn't make it a bad image ! One of these days (sigh) I will go there too...

    Sunsets probably do not come in much nicer variety than this one. One question though: the whole field has pretty much uniform brightness - how is this possible ?

    Actually, I think that the out-of-focus area on the Left kind of dominates the picture - I would trim it a bit to bring the face more to the center of the image - but that's just me :)

    Makes me think what is out of the frame. I am not sure that the RH lower corner (somebody's shoulder ?) fits well with the rest of the image, though.

    I am not exactly sure what this monument is supposed to represent (or commemorate) - but it makes for an impressive photo-subject.
