I am using these lenses with my Pentax DSLR. I would like some opinions about image quality with these and what might be better, especially in the 17-70 or thereabouts range. Thanks.

Right now, I am interested in moving into the Mamiya RB series. My question is whether I should go for the SD or the basic RB. I want a mechancial system mostly, but I also wAnt to enter this system in a smart way. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, everyone. Lots of different opinions. To narrow things down a little. I am not interested in studio or portrait really. I plan to work mostly from a tripod. However, cost is still a consideration. I do hope to scan using a flatbed scanner and to do some back and while.

My experience with MF is limited to the Yashicamat. I am looking to move into something with interchangeable lenses and have narrowed things to the Pentax 645 or the Mamiya rb67. Both seen to offer good quality for the dollar. Any recommendations from those with more experi ence? Thanks.

Thanks for helpful information. Yes, I missed the closeout new D200s for $599 and I did see that KEH has some used D200s. But, I still need to get my mind around paying considerably more for a used D200, even from KEH, than for a new one just a few weeks ago.

I have several older Nikkor AF lenses and several Nikkor AI manual focus lenses, what would you recommend as the most cost effective DSLR body to get for these lenses? Thanks and happy 4th.

My old Dell is hopelessly out of date and I want a new machine to use Lightroom and Photoshop Elements 7. I am not committed to Dell at all. What would you recommend? I am using an Epson R1900 printer. Thanks.

What's out there to protect the exposed LCD panel on the Canon G10. Given the way we use P&S cameras, it is bound to get scratched. I did see something about a G10 ClearTouch Protector. Any other products or good ideas? Thanks.

I would look for Spotmatic F as your body because of open aperture metering. Spotmatic II is nice but you need to stop down. ES and ES II operate without power (battery), but the meter does not operate. I have all four of these and enjoy them but use the Fs the most. Good luck.

Helpful advice as always. Thanks.

Here is my question. I have the choice of buying CS4, Elements 7, or Lightroom. I am a pc user and I want to be able to organize and do basic photo editing. I am not interested in extensie manipulation. What would be my best investment. I have used CS2 and Elements 2. Appreciate the help and don't want to start a firestorm.

I am having a difficult time finding a source for good and timely processing of 35mm slide film. I am OK with sending it off. I just want it back in a reasonable amount of time and some assurance that the work will be done well. Suggestions please.

Can I set my Pentax Ist D to color space Adobe RGB. I read that this would be helpful. However, my owner's manual was not too much help in trying to do so. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did look at the archives and it seems that if I want black and white from slide film, I would be better off to use color slide film and then scan and go from there. I do not have access to a wet darkroom. Thanks.

Here is my question. I use photoshop to crop and size my images and then when I get prints from Sam'a Club it seems that the prints have been further cropped. Is that typical of commercial, mass-market printers? Thanks.

I have several Pentax Spotamatics that I use and enjoy. Here's my question. How do they compare to the Nikon FM and/or
FM2 in terms of good usable all manual cameras? What's the best in this class? Appreciate your views. Thanks.

Very helpful. Thanks.

Reviewing the archives, I found some information about "best" noise reduction software dated 2005. I would be interested
in hearing recommendations for best noise reduction sofware today. Thanks.

Ok, what are your opinions about the best current digital P&S for ISOs of over 200 or particularly over 400? Thanks as

Does anyone know of someone who can do a CLA on a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex II? Thanks.

I know this is a simple question. In photoshop, how can I size an image to produce a 4X6 at 300 dpi that I can send to a
drugstore to be printed.
