I must amend my prior comment, in which I stated "T.S. Elliott's got nothing on you," to "Kandinsky's got nothing on you, Jack." -
I see a straw man here. It's spooky and reminds me of a story I heard as a boy about a man in rural Minnesota who saw a scarecrow like creature in his headlights, shot at it, and drove away. Reportedly the creature "gurgled" when shot. The story has haunted me all these years and I think your photography may haunt me, too. -
Ha! So THAT'S where the pussycats went! A startling image. The graininess is eerie, too.... -

You are right on the mark, Jack. Or as Stephen Maturin, a character in a series of sea novels of the early 19th century would say, "Just so!" Toward the goal of doing more photography I have purchased a Rolleiflex made in 1951--the year of my birth--and plan to do some portraits again. -
