Angel, your photos remind me of a time (now?) and a place where things are genuine, simple and real. Although I now live in London UK, I too come from such a place and looking at your pictures is always a pleasure. This one is no exception. Very well done. Regards, SV

Mi sorprende di vedere cosi' tanto verde in Sicilia. Brava. Forse un polarizer avrebbe aiutato a dare un po di tridimensionalita' alle nuvole. Cheers, SV

I like the picture. Being under a spot and in the horizzontal centre of the frame makes me think that this subject is made to be at the centre of attention, far from being isolated I would have thought singled-out... or are they the same thing? Regards, SV

I tried the cropping and I cannot really make my mind up about which is better. In the cropped version it becomes more obvious that the top part of the background is a mirror of the bottom and once you notice that you cannot ignore it, not even in the other version. You have caught a great moment. Was it really necessary to modify the background? Regards, SV

The cropping is fine as it is. It might be that you needed less of it.... Regards, SV

I must confess that I don't know Robert Frankish... but, in my opinion your picture is not too dark. All the shadow detail appear to be there, although the white poster is not entirely white (on my monitor at least). There seems to be a greyish halo in the center. Regards, SV

The exposure is perfect but (IMHO) the foreground detail is not of the most interesting. Beautiful scenery though. Regards, SV

Warm inside, cold outside. Nice... as for the number...it just reminds me that this is a cafe and not a penthouse and as such IMO it detracts from the cozy feeling. Finally, I think the jug should have been either in or out. Cheers, SV

IMHO the contrast is fine as it is. I can see strong highlights (top ctre/left) and dark shadows (bottom right). Personally I don't think it would take any more. Beautifully composed, but.... I am puzzled by the title... human hands?

Take it easy Bo. The title is "bush in winter" and as far as I can see the picture shows a bush covered in snow, and therefore presumably taken during winter. Clearly no mistake here Bo. Finally, you are entitled to your opinions, but there's no need to SHOUT.

I hope you gave him the apple in the end. Nice capture.

I think a picture of a bird from behind breaks all conventions, but in this case it makes a great fine-art picture.

I like the slightly unconventional composition. Great colours too.

Looks deadly. Well executed. Regards, SV

I love the reflections on the glass. Well spotted and beautifully executed. Regards, SV

Beautiful light and dreamlike atmosphere. IMHO the composition could be improved as my eyes are bounced left to right and viceversa, as in a game of tennis. Maybe that was intentional. Regards, SV

Very, very nice. The missing edge of the righmost boat is bothering me a little. Great all the same. Regards, SV

Carol, I like the composition. I love the fence leading the eye to the construction, although I would have preferred the construction slightly more to the centre. Just a tad. Finally, IMO the color balance is shifting a bit towards magenta. Maybe that's intentional. Lovely and very pleasant all the same. Congratulations. Regards, SV

well, it definitely works... hard to believe this is a real landscape. Congratulations. Did you play with the colours as well?
