One of my first attempts at B&W...

2 yr. old HP flatbed scanner used.

Wonderful! Just plain WONDERFUL! I love it!

This is a picture i would have on my wall. The child and the puddle carries a very simplistic, yet pleasant image. The framing and exposure are all fine by me.

B&W was definately the right medium for this shot. I hope this is on film? :-)

this image has a humanism like the images of some of the postwar photographers, but it does add an interesting note of uncertainty, in a way that does make it a more contemporary image. The quality of the out-of-focus areas makes me think of the elusive "bokeh" that people talk about, and I am so happy to see it was shot with a pentax K1000, not a camera that costs more than my car.

I like this shot. It has mood, mystery and play.

I love this picture. The contrast between the water disturbed by the child's feets and the water in front, still and ready to be "explored". To me it is about exploring, discovering, testing new ground, moving forward and growing in the process. Nice. Regards, SV
