I like the possibilites that existed on this particular morning. The trees to the left may have been a more interesting focal point. The telephone pole and the dock are too distracting and the white sky is in too much contrast to the lovely greens that are here. I love the glow off the algae covered water!

It works even better as a square image starting from the top edge. The dark brooding and rather empty reflection towards the bottom of the frame is cropped out. Nicely done!

Exceptional image!

Please feel free to let me know what you think of the composition
and/or the resolution as it appears here on photo.net. Thank-you!

I have replaced the original crude scan with this scan using a Minolta Quickscan 35. Let me know what you think.
Thank-you, John Crowe

Gorgeous!

Nicely done! Beautiful contrast!

Very nice! Cropping the tree trunk on the right would be an improvement. Nice!

I am a purist. I do not consider this to be a photograph.
That does not stop it from being "cute". A very nice lighthearted artistic idea. It made me stop to look! Well done!

Giving the viewer 90% of the church to look at leaves the viewer wanting to see the whole thing. If there is something in the forground ruining the view then try a detail photograph of perhaps the central windows or the towers or the front door etc...
Beautiful subject well worth photographing!

Kinda neat! The horizon is sloping a tiny bit and if you had used a slower speed film like 100 ASA the colours would be richer. Nicely done!

Absolutely lovely! The one blade of grass is distracting. Great work again!

Wow! Georgeous! The foreground stands in such contrast to the background I am wondering if it should be there. Considering the background on its own, it is not often such a dramatic and well toned landscape can be created. The deep rich moody colours of the background become trivialized by the bright red and white of the foreground. It is as if two independently perfect photographs have been melded into one. I am not convinced that the "whole is better than the sum of its parts" Either way I will do my best to move this image up in the ratings!

Splendid! Polarizers play havok with white. This is a little underexposed, and the polarizer was likely unnecessary with your quality lens. I have noticed in some of your other photographs that your desire to achieve high contrast for dramatic images causes you to lose too much detail and reality. Lovely image in our lovely country!

Spectacular! The horizon appears to be tilting down slightly to the right. Maybe crop the sky just slightly to balance the shadow of the foreground. I would love to see what film would have done for this. Excellent!

Very beautiful! The rocks in the foreground are unnecessary, they are too much of a contrast to the softer main subject. Cropping the bottom of the image so it is almost square would be lovely. The linear cloud formations (jet trails?) are distracting to the very natural scene. Gorgeous!

Very attractive! Nice colours, nice lighting, well worth the wait! Maybe the wheelbarrow could be a little farther from the bottom of the image.
Pretty!

Nicely done! I have recommendations concerning the left hand edge and the right hand edge. On the right I would crop out the black markings. On the left I would crop out the basket and man. The basket and man are so close to not being in the picture that they should be removed. The other nice alternative would have been to included the entire basket in the image. Taking the rule of thirds as a guideline the basket could have been placed 1/3 up from the bottom and 1/3 in from the left. You would still have a small portion of the balloon in the bottom right and the beautiful distant balloon in the top 1/3 - 1/3. Beautiful image!

Awesome! That's it! I think this is my first 7/7.

I don't usually bother with manipulated images, but I can't pass her by without a good look! Many of these nude shots are only interesting from a "voyeuristic" standpoint. While this photograph certainly has plenty of that, you, the photographer actually got involved. You simplified this image as much as you could while giving the viewer as much as you could. The contrast of her highly textured hair to her curvaceous "lower" body is wonderful. The simplification of her form has been so well done, that I only feel that perhaps the right hand could have been shifted slightly to her front so we can't see her not so curvaceous baby finger. Also if her right elbow was tucked back a fraction we would not see that little wisp of light. An argument could be made to have the model swing to her left giving an almost full back shot to simplify the graphic even more but perhaps we would lose some of that "voyeuristic" appeal! I find myself liking the image almost as much as the model - and that IS an achievement! By the way this image is much more alluring than the other. Well done!

I don't think so! I find it difficult to get past the nude part of "nude photography". This would not be an image worth looking at if it wasn't for her phenomenal body. I tend to shy away from your more violent portrayals. Phenomenal body, in a purposeful stance! Well done!
