People are trying to be too smart on eBay with use of selected words. Some are stupid statements ...... such as.... a seller selling a camera with a case says "the case has some stiches missing but this does not make any difference to the quality of the images from the camera".

Vincenzo, thank you for the info.

I think (?) that Noctilux is the fastest Leica M lens. Am I right or am I
right? :-). That being the case, which is the second fastest Leica lens? Is it
Summitar 1.5/50mm? What are the results like from this lens as far as contrast
and sharpness are concerned. I would appreciate seeing any pictures taken with
this lens, please. Thank you.

Even brand new leica lenses have been known to a spec or two of dust between the elements. I think we sometimes spend more time microscopically examining the lenses rather than get out there and use them.

Vick Ko, read carefully - the answer is above.

Different subjects, different contrast, different lenses, different lighting, etc etc . David, how can you compare tomatos with potatos ?

Dear Vivek, thank you for your suggestion but I feel, as an individual, I have done my share of donation to the unfortunate victims of the earthquake disaster.

I already have 2 M3s and 1 M2, also M6TTL and M6 Classic. Now this beauty is
knocking on my door called "MP". Very attempting but am I going to be any
better off since I already have M6TTL? Or shall I get rid of M6TTL and get MP?
MPs are not cheap and resale value for a mint M6TTL is not all that much. Any
suggestions from people who have been in similar situations, please. Many
thanks in anticipation of good, sensible, logical and wise replies.

Nice shots Paul. Nice to see people are still enjoying LTM cameras. I have two and love them. I suppose I should use them more often.

In the UK there are deals that would get you an M6 with a 50 f2 summicron for little more than your $1K.
Chris, You kidding? Little more than $1K, lets say $1100, which is about GBP565. Tell us where in the UK can you get an M6 with 2/50mm Summicron for this price???

I HATE IT EVEN MORE.
