NO, NO, NO, get a LTM body like Leica111 or Leica111f as well as your M3. You will enjoy them both. Pre-war uncoated 3.5/50 Elmar lenses are great joy to use. A friend of mine mounted a Pre-war uncoated 3.5/50 Elmar lens on his M8 and the result I saw was fantastic, unbelievable. I was surprised at the colour and quality of the image.

Paul, the lens is Russian Jupitar 2/50mm, the cameras as you know is German and the filter is Japanese.What a combination !! but gives superb results.

I use my Leica11 with an external 50mm viewfinder as the hood does cover a portion of the view through the camera viewfinder.

You sell a LEICA only to regret.

Can some one tell me which lenses can I use it on. Does the largest aperture

make any difference. For example if it is for 3.5/50 , can it be used on 2/50

lens. Will it work on my Summitar 2/50 and 2/50 'cron? Many thanks.<div></div>

MP .72 with a cron. For that extra stop you can use a stop faster film. MP will also hold its value and is a much superior camera.

My rangefinder window on my IIIf is very dark in the right hand window. i.e it appears brown/yellowish, is this meant to be like this? It makes focusing difficult, specially in low light areas. Does it need cleaned?
