Great lighting and composition in this very domestic scene.
-
You have used the technique to great effect. There is a very nice mood and depth to this.
-
A very interesting and original subject and terrific sharpness on your main subject. I'm captivated by the glass objects and the molten blob. As a documentary shot this is great. I wonder about the merits of cropping out the background man (at about the elbow) - this would make the downwards diagonal stronger (pity about the red shorts which are a bit distracting - however I appreciate that this is the reality of it!).
I look forward to viewing more of your work.

Thanks for your meaningfull greeting Jana, and for the wonderful photo.
-
I love that blue haze. I thought it was sunrise as I always associate Africa with red sunsets, but the view still looks very African (red soils).
Thanks for the dream.

By placing the icicles against the darker lower background you have created a nice back lit effect, and it is complemented by the zone to the top of the branch.
The left side is not very effective as there's not much going on there, so perhaps a square crop would work here: icicles, slanted branch and dark background in bottom half.

Simple and very effective. It's a lesson (to me certainly) how the flower has been transformed by the use of backlighting.
I love the different degrees of transparency that appear towards the periphery, and the delicate shadow at the bottom.
Well done PT.

Nice feelings of autumn evening in the woods in this photo, and the pile of cut branches is certainly recognizable as having been cut (not fallen naturally), so the theme fit is there.
I like the composition, especially the way the branches lead us towards the back.
Unfortunately it would have been nice to have a glowing red light on this to bring out the colours. With the "flatish" light of the moment, the scene ends up looking a bit dull (perhaps it is a tiny bit underexposed too?)
Some PS work (curves, colour balance and dodge/burn) plus a tiny crop, enhances the photo without loosing the nice muted colours of the original. I hope PT doesnt mind the tinkering.

I think this would look good (better) in black and white since the sky is not very interesting but the shapes are. Could crop some of the garden (left edge) off too.
-
I find the tilt a bit overpowering here - like the whole building is coming down. Was that your intention?
-
Vibrant colours. Pity about the blue stripe in the background.

I like the utter simplicity of it - the symmetrical composition with a twist.
-
Probably the worst photo in you portfolio - I'd get rid of it if I were you. The sailing shots are 1000 times better. Sorry.
-
Absolutely nothing to critique here. The execution is very nicely done: and best of all you have captured a feeling of movement at sea with the billowing sail. The composition is spot on (ie perfect) IMO.
Makes me want to see more of your photos!

Having a flower with you certainly presents some interesting possibilities. Nice punchy shot.
-
Sharpness, details and toning all excellent but for me this would work better in portrait format. The white cloud zone on the right is bothersome and I miss seeing the tip of the tower.
-
Nice sharp details and a good idea to use B&W here. The bristles stand out nicely against the rest.
One suggestion: I'd be tempted to add a dimension (and another texture) with some soap suds - a trail of dribble leading the eye in is another idea.
Plenty of textures around the house (good choice PT).
-
Of the two I prefer the composition of the second.
But overall I think its the lighting that has let you down, rather than the comp.
ie both could be stronger images if lighting was better.
Might be worth playing around with the Photoshop Lighting Effects filter. Can do wonders if applied in small doses (low opacity).
There's potential in that green!

I didnt see the first, but find this very well done and original, not to mention "eye" catching! My only comment would be that more space top and bottom would be even better IMO (maybe not possible, but surely yes with your PS skills!).
Excellent. (I dont really "like" it though - a bit yucky!).

A couple of problems as I see it:
white balance off (blue cast to everything)
underexposed
vignetting in the top corners
backdrop coming away from horizontal surface at bottom left
composition so-so
Hope this helps.
