Steve,
I really like a4, it has a very intimate feel to it and I think the composition is on the mark. I too enjoy loading a developing tank and creating something from a piece of film, I know most people go on about seeing the print come up in the tray but for me while developing film theres no second chance and when I open the tank and look at what Ive created, I get a kick out of seeing the negatives and realizing the adjustments Ive made in exposure, composition and development have given me negatives with great possibilities for prints!!
I also use an F3 and although it doesnt have all the bells and whistles of the latest equipment available, I feel I can make images that match my intentions. (I believe bells and whistles can be a distraction anyway)
Keep up the good work!
Bob

I asked a sales person at a supposedly reputable camera store if they had Tri X Pan in 120 size, after a pause and a funny look from the salesman, he mentioned that Tri X Pan isnt made in 120 size. As I began explaining Id been shooting Tri X in 120 for years he looked at me like Yeah..Right and rolled his eyes! I kept my mouth shut and left the store, never to return.
Being ignorant and arrogant is a recipe for disaster, no matter what line of work is involved!
