Years ago the only camera kit I had was a Nikon FM2 with a 55 f2.8 Micro lens, I loaded TRI X using a bulk loader and developed it with D76 1:1. Some of the best work I've produced was with that combo! I think using a Micro lens as a normal lens makes a great deal of sense and the Micro lenses are very sharp (at least my 55 f2.8 was). The only issue is when the light levels start getting low.

There's something to be said about keeping things simple!

I have been asked to make black and white prints of family portraits

for a calendar. I will make conventional prints and I would like to

be able to make the calendar using the prints rather than making

digital files and printing out the results using a software calendar

template. Does anyone know of a source for blank calendars that I

could attach the prints to?

Hello Douglas,

My M4-P is the same, slight hitch before firing the shutter. A CLA at Golden Touch made no difference. I've found once I advance the film and slightly press the shutter release to get past the hitch but not fire the shutter, the hitch is no longer there until I advance to the next frame. I've also wondered about the hitch.
