Great shot! I know how difficult it is to get a perfectly framed, perfectly sharp shot. These animals are pretty unpredictable when breaching, and you've done a fantastic job.
Where was it taken by the way?

Very impressive shot!

Removing the people in the background does make a difference. Well done!

Well done! Very original (although I have seen a similar shot on Photo Net).

Congratulations! You managed to make an interesting shot of a not so interesting subject.

Great action close up!

Perfect!

Awesome!

I don't think it's the film, it's probably the scan (and the JPG compression). If you could scan directly from the negative, you would obtain a much better result.
If you use a Nikon scanner, you can also reduce the grain effect. True, a slide film such as Fuji Velvia would give better results, but they usually don't come in 3-packs for $5...
Nevertheless, I think you've done a great job here.

Nice to see the view of other photographers on my country!

Well done! (lots of people forget to put a subject in their picture)

Awesome colours!

Finally a sunset shot with an interesting subject!

Fraser Island?

Great shot. Focused on the eyes, nice contrast of green and orange, and perfect composition.
I hope for you this shot was made in a zoo :-)
-
Perfect focus!

Excellent shot!
I should add this location to my article (www.millhouse.nl/sydneyphotography.html)

Ciao Anna. Glad you have good memories of Australia. However, I'm from Holland, not from Australia, but I spent over a year traveling through the outback. Do you have any Australia pictures in your portfolio?

Mmm, very original!

Great light and background.

It's hard to get a clear day in the bay.
I like the perspective of this shot.
It would probably benefit from a polarizer filter.

Excellent viewpoint!

Again an excellent silhouette shot with a proper subject.
What settings did you use?
