Stefano, Kodak Gold is a very good and inexpensive film. The drawback is the fact that you need a good print service to ge the result. Therefore I mostly use Fuji slide film, with Fuji Provia 100F being my favourite, because it's so versatile (it can easily be pushed to 400 ISO). If I want to save money for a photoshoot I often use Fuji Sensia 100, which comes in 5 packs at a very attractive price and is a very good film too.

Thanks for the compliments on the photo.

  1. The exposure is spot on. The image is not very sharp, but that's probably the result of scanning.

    Composition is nice too.

Try Fuji Provia 100F or Sensia 100 next time for better colour reproduction and sharpness. Don't forget to add approximately one stop to compensate for film sensitivity loss during long exposures (> 10 seconds).

Taking pictures on dark winter days in Northern Europe is a difficult taks, but this is a perfect example of what can be achieved with a little creativity.
