I've been getting back into film and have been experimenting with Pan f + PMK Canon 7s with Canon 35mm f1.8LTM F11 1/2sec #15 yellow filter ei of 32 Shot while on my way back to the office from a meeting.

  4. A look back at Morro Bay Ca. Testing out Ilford Ortho Plus film, Mamiya Super 23 with 250mm f5. Could have benefited from a yellow filter, but I don't have one in 105mm thread. Heavily cropped foreground and background. Developed 12min@68 deg in PMK P

  5. Getting back into film this past year and have been using these beasts. Loving the versatility, in spite of being forced to get a workout lugging the gear around. Anyone else still using their old Mamiyas?
  6. I really like the Canon 7s, and the Canon P. Between those two, I'll grab the P most of the time.
  7. I love my OM1. All mechanical shutter, excellent lenses, and fits my hand like a breast. What's not to like?
  8. I still like using a yellow filter with this film. The selfie of my son and I had a #15 yellow. The pizzaria in the next picture have skies that are blown out, though there were some clouds. No filter was used here.

    Wedding Photo

I found a 4x5 film holder from the last wedding I shot, that I found this weekend (15 years after I shot it). I did the shoot in medium format, I just keep the Super Graphic handy, in case of a scene that presents itself that I know I'll want to really b

    Excellent composition.
  15.
I'm interested in sending my used 20D body in for modification to being a dedicated IR camera and was wondering a few things. For my main camera I'm planning on upgrading, so I won't be too heartbroken if the 20D doesn't turn out as well as I hope.
1. Has anyone here used http://www.lifepixel.com/ for their modification?
2. Which filter modification did you choose (as I am debating which of their setups I am leaning towards)?
3. Are you happy with the results? I'd love to see posts of the results too.

I tried quick sample picture of my front yard with the meter reading at iso 100 at 1/500 @ f5.6. To get a "useable pic" the exposure with an 87 filter, and focus adjusted accordingly the exposure was 30 seconds @ f5.6 with the ISO bumped up to 400! I definitely would like to be able to take IR pictures without these crazy timed exposures.

  16.
I've hunted, fished, hiked and photographed in wilderness areas for years. I won't ask for permission to do photography, nor will I ever pay for a permit for photography, even if the forest service starts to claim that people must.
