Perhaps because it has a touch of subtlety, elegance, and even a bit of romance? This photo engages the imagination of the viewer. Most "erotic" art is in-your-face crude and lacks the "imagination factor".

A remarkable study in aerodynamics. Vividly demonstrates anhedral, aerodynamic twist, sweep, and tip winglets. And BTW, it is a beautiful photo also!

I am not certain the boat is necessary to the photo, but it does provide scale for size. Also, without the boat there would be a lot of blank water. I might be tempted to try a more panoramic layout by cropping out some of the foreground water. All in all it works.
  1. Should be published in Arizona Highways! Only thing missing is the coyote silhouette. The coyote should be sitting on the rock just above the pipe organ cactus. *grin*

All fun aside it is a lovely photo.

Hey folks... It is not overexposed, it is back lighted! The really difficult trick of this photo is that Alejandro was able to keep the face inside the hood properly exposed without the back-lighting turning everything else black! Well done Alejandro!!

I like the photo. I hate the posting of other photographers with an unrelated photo who are fishing for a rating! (Rant finished!)

The back lighting with a colored light is creative and useful and you have done it without overpowering the models face. Good job. IMHO you could improve the photo by lightening the shaded side of the face (model left, photo right)a little, and by sharpening the focus on the eyes. The eyes are the soul of the portrait and should be razor sharp.
