Direct charging from the panel would be wrong , a go between 12v battery and charge controller is the wright way.

A Minox I would have thought this choice is clear.

If a man is to shed the lightof the sun upon other men, he must first of all have it within himself. Al was an inspiration to me and I am sure the light will be wit him. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

My absolute reliable inside info is the security guard at the factory, release will be february 2010. The 5DIII will come with 34mp and ISO 64000. Anyone here wanting to let go of that old tech 5DII send me a note I take it of your hands.

Beautiful , I would like to see this on my IIIf.

I fitted two of these adaptors and removed them for this very reason , placed them in the bin. A better and more elegant option is the Optix 5 from HappypageHK , no such problem and the ease of programming is a bonus , just use the DOF button to register aperture focal lenght and ven relocate focus confirm in case of error.

Rather poor images but this seems to be a Leica II D, my info is around 15000 where made in chrome.

You should be able to find a bargain at the pawnbrokers.

Dave , the info I gave comes from my McKeowns I was surprised myself. It is possible only the SLR range was made by Chinon the book is not very clear.

The Agfa Selectronic where made by Chinon for Agfa there are several models some SLR and some RF based on the Optima 500. You would have the RF, sorry I can not help with the adjustment but for a manual you may be lucky at Butkus Org.

Leica R lenses have never been cheaper , now totally abandoned by Leica no longer in production and propably never again will be.

My Canon EF 50mm f1.4 does have some small amount of barrel distortion but I am always happy with the results. The lens is not too sharp wide open but fine at f2.8 as to the build quality I too wish Canon would do us all a favor and redesign the mechanics, its worse than poor. May be Canon does not have the time after all we need a new DSLR every four month more than a reliable working lens.

He is indeed saying the Nikon is a better choice , but lets not forget he is testing a RF. I am not impressed by either the Nikon or the M9 photos. I think his expertise is more about testing lenses and not even there digitally.

Failing server sorry for double post.

The Summarit 50mm I have used was f1.5 it would not be my choice , never used a Summilux but the second non ASPH would be a very capable lens for the right price. Made by Leitz or Leica.

I think Subbarayan has got it right, my experience is the Leica IIIf no need to move the camera away form your eye just run your finger along the wind knob for the next shot.

Hi Ed, here is a site listing lenses that can be used on Canon , your lens could be a problem.

Paul like Richard I live in Melbourne and I must agree with his statement USPS is extremely reliable I have had many such shipments from the USA even from B&H. While this is so one parcel comes to mind some years ago I purchased a beautiful Vito III ( that auction site ) the seller stated it has shipped, waiting and questioning him for more than 90 days I lft a neg FB. The camera arrived some 30 days later that was now more than 4 month. Post Office USPS stamp date for shipping correct shipped the time advised by seller. My apologies to the seller duly noted can not be changed except for update. I am whriting this here in hope you will still see the parcel get there.

Hi Robert, I have a Ikoblitz 5 and a pack of Philips PF1B 6 bulbs. Like most this flash requires a 15v batterie but you may fit a 12v mini available everywhere it will fire the flash. Set the batterie in with a spacer. The Ikoblitz actually works on my IIIG with its cord the fan is bright and clean it winds back, only the cover for transport is missing. If you are interested send me a note its free. Bulbs would be a problem for you no bulbs where made for some years, old stock is extremely priced.

Great info Oe James , those older Porro binoculars are sure worth using I thought yours where the 7x50 mostly used at sea.
I used my 7x50 Marseptit a number of years sailing our coast right up to PNG. Like your Binuxit mine could do with a service , I have a late 10x42 Trinovid as well but those old porro ones if in good order have real relaxing view its just right. Glad your,s are back in order , I will inquire with Gus the price is well worth it.
