This is a lovely shot of a small Teasel, and all the better for being shown in b/w! We don't see enough close ups in b/w.
Heres one of my exeriments in b/w close up work.

Gorgeous, wouldnt mind it on my wall!
and the frame suits it well, nice one!

Thanks, but i just simply pointed the camera upinto the boughs and subconsciously kep the trunk off centre. I rarely think about what i'm doing, it just happens!
-
I love that view outside, but I'd have taken a shot outside, rather than thru the window. That barn and tree are just asking to be portrayed!
-
but the balance in the sky seems wrong. The clouds are to the right where theres little interest, the span of the bridge having ended.
If you could have captured the scene when those big clouds were over the bridge, or maybe just crop the far right side off after the end of the bridge, I think it would look a lot better.
Lovely colour tho!

very nice, tho a litle soft, it's hard to tell.
i like it tho.
-
I like this, in colour or mono, tho I'd have preferd to crop out that bit of gras at the bottom.
It's a great shot tho, a mix of extractist pattern(the stairs) and photojournalism(the bullet holes in the walls)

thanks, I got a lot of slack cos of this pic, people saying I was condoning violence!
But I thought the situation humurous.

Nice shot of a stairway, i love the way you deliberately used the camera out of focus.
Is that a ghost at the top of the stairs?
Should have used a pinhole camera, it would have been sharper.

that is superb, 10/10
-
wow, that is one amazing image!
I just love snow covered trees!
And that sky is fantastic, the tree really stands out!
-
OOh, i like this!
Very Ansel Adams/Edward Weston!
-
I quite like this pic, love the atmosphere.A shame about that big black border, doesnt suit it at all.
-
This looks almost prehistoric, well spotted
-
This would have been a great shot if youd used ditrectional lighting, say coming from the top to give some relief and depth.
-
Trees are your friends
couldnt agree more! Great shot, lovely light, can i have it on my wall? ;)
-
This is a great shot, love the tones and the perspective, surely a POW contender!
-
nice to see a pic taken in candleight, i love the light and the softness. Very warming.
-
nice shot hannah, tho i'd have prefferd a close up shot of just the hat and flowers.
-
This reminds me of the first sci-fi movie by the Lumiere brothers, the Man in the moon!
Nice effect.
