It is slightly ambiguous when viewed by thumbnail. Dramatic lighting and pose. Nicely executed. I do like the skin color from the rim (?) lighting.

I see the attraction of the subject. I think a reframe is in order. The biggest thing bothering me is the window frame touching the left side border. And the clutter of ferns? Did you shoot the window and weathered wall alone?

I agree with you on too much star filter. Push come to shove I would've pulled out a polarizer to saturate the colors of the water and reduce glare (in one sense a star filter is the opposite of that). Engaging photo though.

First, great model you have there!

Second, as a photograph, the metal (?) vertical bar is distracting I think. But I like the rough texture of the wall behind her - contrasts with her soft hair and skin.

Thanks for the kind words O'Meara. :-)

I'll tell you - I think I need to work the subject more (props I've acquired). The porcelain hand molds are so very odd - I don't think I've exploited them enough - and I'm thinking.

Not sure what category to put in. Focus (literally:-) is on the porcelain molds for making latex

    gloves.

Wow. Okay, I attach a very radical crop. Ask yourself: what story are you trying to tell, how can you best convey it? I took a very radical approach. I'm not feeling good about it.
