I must say that this picture really stands out. Im really surprised that it doesn get higher ratings, at least in the "original" column. I do like it very much becuase this is an image that speaks to me. It do send a message and therefor it is truly art. Its not very important, but at least it would be intresting to know what you as a photograper/artist would like to communicate with it.

Did you clean away the two cranes and added the moon? Or did they erect them later? Is the moon added in PS?
Anyway a beutiful shot!

...do you really get enough sleep at night? Or can you just go out and create your beutiful pics in just a second or what? I'm starting to worry for you! This one was truly amazing. Very nice!

"Ok, lets see what I should say to make her belive me.."

I think this is a really great photo. The ratingsystem does not do this kind of pictures justice. The low light and the long shadows together with the lonely young girl with the group of adults behind her as a sort of a treath. is the middle man going to beat her with the tool or stick he carries? It raises a lot af questions and is very intresting. If you have any comments or a story to tell please e-mail me back.

Can I smell some photoshop here...?

Nice snapshot wich had been even better if there had been some more people around. As it is now you cant get a feeling for whats happening around him and way he is bored.

Nice strong colors! I do like the limited colorspace. Just blue, white and the "red" rocks. Maybe i would like to se it cropped in another way? Anyway a beutiful picture.

Of the latest tree picture, this was the one that first cought my attention. It did so first of all with the lines and the colors. The second thougt was the contrast between stone and water. Great shot.

Jeroen proposed that you would crop away the bottom part. Maybee thats a good thing to do, becuase the sea might work as a beutiful abstract picture. The velvet like sea almost would look like fire? May you could trie it. If it works, please post it and send me an e-mail so I can see it.

I normaly doesnt like flower pictures, but this one is a bit different. The color, lines and cropping makes it eyecatching. A really good one!

Right exposure, and the focus perfect. Eye contact as previsoly commenter said very important. The only thing that I thought of when looking at the picture was that I would like to see more of him. And I read in your comment that there are more pictures in your folder. I will go see them right now!!

I cant really tell what caught my attention, even though I'm pretty shore it wasnt the stop sign since its not possible to see in the smallest version. I think that maybe it was the colors of the picture, almost like a postcard from 1955! The stop sign ads another dimension. I also notice that there is no people in it wich ads to the over all "feeling".

I think this is the best shot in your folder. What I like is that you havent fallen for the usual exposure for this kind of scenery. The ocean looks very nice.

Of your latest uploads this was the one that first called for attention. Very beutiful picture. I do like the colors and the lines sloping to the right and the tree that sort of stops the movement. What does the 81A filter do? I need to lear more about that stuff, but cant it be corrected in PS as well?

The light and the balance between the sea and the sky is very beutiful!

Is it the watertower ( or something similar ) that I saw on "the Mile" when visiting Chicago? Very nice colors, but maybe just slightly underexposed? ( I would like to see a little more details in the buildning ). But that could be my monitor as well. Anyway, a very fine picture.
-
Ni ce shot. Only thing that might improve it is if it could be a bit cleaner. ( upper left corner ) I do like the angel and perspecitive of this photo. Speed and movement!
-
I really dont know about this one. It is a picture thats intresting ( otherwise I would not have commented on it ) I also like it in some way. I think the sky is what I first see. But then I start thinking. Is it the sky or the church tower thats the main thing. But wy is it cropped. Anyway I cant really say what I could have done different but I think that maybe the motive was worth some more work? I hope you dont think I'm hard on you becuase I dont want to be. But I really would be intresting to her your toughts with this picture.
Keep shooting!

Its so perfect and simple that you tend to notice the very small details. Maybe the grey in the bottom could be absolutely paralell with the pictures bottom frame? The "thing" previosly mentioned in the corner - to be or not? Great photo - I think I'm just jelous....

Good with the unsharp background. I would like to se the hole of the parrots feet and less green above his/her head. Any way - nice picture.
Broken window.
