Felicitaciones Cristobal. That is what I would call beeing in the right place at the right moment and of course with your finger ready to shoot.

that the girl is standing between the two shadows of the adults is what makes this photograph good, both symbolically and aesthetically. it has a great feeling to it, very dramatic.

I think this is a really great photo. The ratingsystem does not do this kind of pictures justice. The low light and the long shadows together with the lonely young girl with the group of adults behind her as a sort of a treath. is the middle man going to beat her with the tool or stick he carries? It raises a lot af questions and is very intresting. If you have any comments or a story to tell please e-mail me back.

A dream-like image that encapsulates childhood. Nothing out of place. Nothing trite. This is the closest thing in photography to euphamism I've ever seen.

I like the picture, hate the frame! I think the photo is charming. I would try to avoid chopping off the top of those 5 heads in the background.

Nice picture, have been looking at it for a while. Too bad about the heads chopped of, and also the bright reflection of the sun near those people is a little bit distracting... Maybe with some extra work in the darkroom?

I think that as just the girl is the subject of the photo, the adults behind her becomes just part of the background so the photograher can crop their heads as easy as cutting the top of a mountain or the top of a tree if he thinks that that part of the background doesn't makes sense to what he wants to show in the picture.

(Sorry if my comment makes you angry)

Nice shot given the moment. Is that really only a #3 filter? It looks more like a 4 1/2. Nice effect. Yikes, no heads, but I'm ambivalent as to whether that really matters, maybe cropped even more of their heads might be cool. I also thought, if you would have gotten down lower to the ground so the perspective would be from the childs, but then you might not have the really important shadows which give the shot its edge. Please don't be offended by this idle speculation, its always easier to second guess in hindsight. Basically, an excellant significant moment. Very interesting to view.

Thanx

Has the girl been Photoshopped in? She looks as if she's floating about the street. The long shadows from her legs don't look real either.
