This is another from my cemetary series ... i've gotten some views,

but not any comments... i'm not looking for ratings as much as

comments on the different exposures.. any help would be appreciated...

 

this one is one of my favorites out of the series...

to be honest, i need to see a larger version of this... is that possible?

 

well... the other head isn't supposed to be in focus.. thats the whole point.. it's artistic use of shallow DOF...

are under the folder of the same name.... this was my first 'real'

outing attempting to capture some good photos.... please comment

and/or rate these photos.. i'ld like to get a feel for anything i can

be doing better... though i have to say im pretty pleased with them

myself...

you know what? I really do like people who can find ordinary every day objects and make them into an interesting photography subject. You turned a normal pencil that most people would overlook into a cool photo. Most people will pick apart your photo, but i think you have a good eye. If you thought to snap off a frame of this ordinary object, then that tells me your brain is working the right way....

i say, whatever it takes to realize the vision of your mind's eye.... go for it...

 

This was one of the first shots i took with a nikon 50mm 1.8 , an

actual step up from the 28-80 Albinar zoom i got with my N2000... how

is the DOF ? exposure? etc etc... please comment...

picture book quality....nice

i would of stopped down (or is it up? ) to a lower f number and get a better affect with DOF. The bleachers in the background are distracting....

i would of done this from a lower camera angle making the flower/weed/whatever that thing is world seem more intimidating...

being a fan of old ..old..old trucks, i really like what you've done with this series...

i want to see a higher resolution scan of this...this could be an awesome print...

underexposed a tad, but this shot makes me want to jump in a nd walk down this street (?) and check things out..
