Hello everyone! Thanks again Bill. Yes, I tried but the thread didn't survive the transition. So, here's a scene from downtown Sitka, Alaska atop Castle Hill that I attempted earlier:
Bronica RF645, 65mm f/4 Bronica Zenzanon-RF, 100TMax
And I notice the new format is the same as the Leica User Forum!

Alan, we seem to be crossing paths again. On my first trip to Alaska, I had someone take me through the Tracy Arm to the Sawyer Glacier. Your image is spectacular.
Many thanks Michael; I had two opportunities to visit the Tracy Arm (including this last cruise) and was denied each time, the first due to a passenger medical emergency, the second due to fog. Maybe the third time will be a charm!
Where are you going next? Maybe we'll cross at the same time. :)

Leica M10-P
CV 50mm Nokton f/1.2
Nice compositions, exquisite detail and tones. Those CV lenses easily pull their weight.

I like it. And I even enjoy the Summitar flare. Great comparison between the temple and the stark background grey buildings.
Thank you Christopher. The Summitar, despite its age definitely has its unique character! And yes, to see the temple in contrast to its surroundings forces a balance between old and new; to me was akin to seeing the Alamo for the first time in downtown San Antonio.

Welcome everyone to Week 32 of 2022, the Leica and Rangefinders W/NW Thread! Here’s a scene from my archives on October 2012 of the front of Longshan Temple, Taipei.

Although not answering your question directly, here’s some more info from the Leica Wiki site:
The forum discussion links may reveal something more specific.

4 days without and answer. I hope I don't violate Photo.net forum etiquette by suggesting you post the question on another site; the Leica Collectors and Historica forum. I think your question is just a notch too specialised here.
It may be a good idea to include a photo. Not that I doubt a collector would know what a SYOOM is, but sometimes Leica made changes although they kept the product code. For example, I had some compatibility issues with a FILCA and found out that there are 4 different FILCA versions.
Your reference is a good one. There are several regular participants of that forum whose knowledge is encyclopedic and will go to great lengths to provide an answer.
