At first sight, this picture is very intriguing. That's a very good point. However, I feel that the hole is too close to the top of the frame. Cheers.

Good shot but too bad there are some scratches on it. Maybe you should print it with the black borders of the enlarger, so that the scratches and the border add a "rough" and industrial feeling to it.

Your porfolio has very good pics, and this one is great. I might look like an "easy" shot, but I'm sure it was not. Keep it simple, and the image works. Congrats.

I like the simplicity of this shot, yet, there's something disturbing/unnatural on the silhouette's left leg... But I like the contrast very much.

Very nice colors Dan. I love it.

Could you print the photo again and bring out more details in her face? It's too dark on your two shots, and we can't see her expression.

Really beautiful. Congratulations!

This reminds me of Tim Burton's movies. The strange characters certainly enhance the mystery. I'm a bit skeptical regarding the bottom croping of the "moon".

It's pretty cute, I like how the scale of the subject is difficult to determine at first sight.

Your photo really caught my eye. At this size, the grain is invisible, I can hardly imagine that this has been shot with an ISO 3200. I love the aesthetic and the originality, it is a great job.

I really love this shot, seeing the two girls adds a surrealistic touch to the picture and makes it quite fun and interesting. Plus, the colors work great too :)

I don't agree with Christian's comment: I do find a lot of softness in the washed out blue of the scene. It does convey a sense of dreaming that more contrast would break.

I find the montage too obvious here, and the two photos don't really match. I really prefer your other shots in the same folder, some of them are really great. I feel like this photo is misplaced in there, don't you think so?

Interesting idea. The framing gives a better pic than your first version. I especially like the bottom silhouette. However, it is a bit disturbing to have a reflection on the top-right photo. It could also be improved (maybe) by using a set of photos which are giving a "real" story (like a sequence of shots): in this approach, the silhouette could be the "hero" of the photographed story, and his silhouette, the "ending point". Hey, nice idea! I might try it out :) ! Cheers

Ah haaa! Portra NC! Can't bet the colors of this film. Great work on this shot, I really love the colors and the use of DOF. I also liked a lot your digital shot from within a NY taxi. Wonderful! While blurry, the man on the right adds an interesting human touch to the picture.

Original and fun series. My only concerne are variations in the sky and grass colors : you should (digitally?) change them to be all the same
in every picture. Mainly because a lighter sky breaks the "sequence" effect. Otherwise, I really like these pics! Congrats!

Nice colors and foreground.

Yeah, really great pic, as the ones from the fifties movies. Congrats!

Hello Valentina, nice light! I love the softness, pause, and clothing. Your "Escape" picture in the "Chiara" folder is cool too. Cheers - JS http://puredesign.fr.st

Yeah, nice pic. I also got this "underwater" feeling, due to the blue tone. It looks like on of those "Search in the Titanic" picture :-). Congrats!

I really love this photo: the foregrounds adds this "small scale" feeling (like if the monk was a puppet) and the light and colors are beautifull. Congratulations! - JS

I think that your background is too bright: this distracts me. Also, your model's face is mixed
up with the background, especially in the nose
area.
