Nice shot peter I do not understand the lack of feedback on such a pic, I like the contrast in lights, congratulation, was it the moon? (I like to imagine)

The picture is too symetric for my taste, I like the colors but I would have croped the picture anoter way (to avoid that the main light source is just in the middle.

Dramatic sky, I regret that the foreground is a bit too dark that we cant see more details from the boat or (alternative) that there is more contrast. Here we are in-between the 2. This said I like it.

Nice color composition.

This is great folder you have really a sense to see the nature beauty.

This is a great picture, the contrast of colors is fascinating. I take the opportunity to also comment on the one sent today at critique forum (take out). I do not like it that much, it is too confused for my taste (too many distracting objects) crop it to isolate the cook with the cooker he is working with.

I'm always attracted by this kind of pic. Looking at the larger pic, the only remark I have is that there is a too dark area (on the mountain on the left).
Thank you to also comment on my pic sent few minutes before yours (Ducks)

Original sunset!

Thank you for the interest and the comments.
After few research I have found again how I made this picture, it is rather simple but it requires time to find the balance between two diffrent filters in Paintshop. I had a look in my older version of Photoshop but I cant find the imortant filter for this effect. If you like to have details send me a mail and I will give you more. (jeanmet@post10.tele.dk).

I use to visit those having also given me a littel bit of their time. This is the pic I like most in your folder. Lovely atmosphere. Maybe the dead tree should have been even more pushed on the left. Jean

Amazing colors Julie. Now I have been back to see the pic after few days. The first time I could agree with the DOF, but frankly now I do not think it is a major point as the bluring of the color in the infinite is also enjoyable to my eyes.

Thank you for your remark, It is always pleasant to get some positive feedback.
I think the water froze; after what the temperature increased again so the ice parted in blocks; before been frozen again. Well this is my guess, mother nature has the control and manufactures a lot of strange things, not always giving the explanations how it was done, letting us the pleasure of contemplation and the distraction of trying to find an explanation.
Yes it was overclouded that day, furthermore I added a bit contrast that has darkened the picture until I was satisfied.

Peter thank you for your visit on my folios I also rate your pic I like mostly, Jean

I like the colors on this one, maybe you should have cropped the pict a bit so that they would appear bigger. Thanks to also comment and rate one of my picture you like in my folios, Jean

I like your picture, I couldnt see it was a boat first but this doent matter. I like the lines and the colors, maybe I would have removed the white "thing" on the right side, Thank you to comment and rate one of my pictures you like, as well. Jean
