OK,this one had me freaking out at first.Um,that IS a chimp, right?wow, where's the hair gone,....no it's an old muscley man with a fake looking monster head on it!!Still looks abit too freaky even 10 min later!AWSOME shot!!!!!!!

Of course the shallow depth of field is perfect, that angle of view is unbelievable for showing off the 'humaness' of her body.

Photographicaly the split face is a little awkward but it definitely works because it shows emotions (shyness, playfullness?).Perfect softness & contrast levels!!
  1. I think i LIKE the composition. One's eye is definitely pulled to the trees (& farmhouse?) that's being threatened by the storm. The shaddows work well.My beef is the horrid velvia making the colours too unatural. You can easily get away with that grad filter-it looks real to me-it's a sunset shot.

Composition is cool!I like the body shadow seperate like that.Improvements?Get in abit closer to the bug?dunno. The whole photo could be at least a stop brighter though-can't quite see the bugs face properly.overall though different & good!
  2. Sorry to be so harsh, but this photo really grates on my senses.

I'm still learning about my own responses to pictures,so i can't get the words together to explain most of my feelings about it.I do know though that B&W is VERY unflattering to the older women.

Oh one usefull thing i can think of -the two seperate 'stories' of the photo don't match and are being squeezed together by the vigneting.I wish we could see it much bigger.I know i would like it more then
