Great lighting and composition and a magical atmosphere. The distortion from the fish-eye works brilliantly with the bent tree to contrast with the smoothness of the snow.

Thank you Colin; I'm having a lot of fun with this lens. And thank you to Kim, John, Yuri, Rex, Mauricio, Atle, and Anish for your kind words and visits.

Another version of this, taken almost thirty years ago, but with a new, Photoshop background, can be seen HERE. This organism has been haunting me for quite some time. Regards.

Sure there are fair share of fishy pix on PN, but I just reminded myself that this is 67 format, and, wait a tick, the optic must be enormous, both physically and financially! Nevertheless, you have shown in more than one occasion of how to effective utilize the hardware. Hat's off to you.

The blue cold color is very compatible to the winter night atmospher, good composition as well. Pnina

Excellent pic Walter. The blues and lit foreground dash of light set it off well. Sure looks like moonlit snow from here :) Bravooooooo

This is great, Walter.... I love the perspective captured with wide-angle lens.... The light is great, too!
