michaellinder 16,613 Posted March 17, 2021 First of all, Tatiana, I must note how creatively designed and executed this image is - especially the dual frames. It seems to me that the flower pot is a spectator, carefully watching the stick figures going about their business. What really threw me for a loop is the quartet of stick figures about to disappear into the red nether world. My mind is spinning out of control. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 498 Posted March 17, 2021 The viewer's attention was immediately attracted to this fascinating work of art very well composed. The contrast of the black and red colors makes the matches stand out, well ordered and very sharp and with an inverted perspective as you have chosen. The frame is also very nice. A true masterpiece, Brava Tatiana , ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 18, 2021 Hi Tatiana, this is wonderful artwork! Making the frame part of the scene is inventive and done in a different style than the scene the flower pot (I now you that is you) is looking at. This creates a visual separation, yet the two are one nevertheless. The alternation of the groups of matches is a mind bender; I tried to figure out if there is a mathematical pattern, but couldn't discover one. I really like the gradient from black to red as a background. It seems to indicate the matches at the top are closer to being lit. This concept and execution is another display of your creative and technical skills. Into my favorites! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

tai 3 Posted March 21, 2021 Thank you a lot, Pierre, for your 3D observation and a generous compliment! I have tried to arrange these matches according to the geometric idea of reverse perspective. Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
tai 3 Posted March 21, 2021 Thank you so much, Vincent, for your attention, interesting observation and generous compliment! It is necessary to explain about the regularity, scale and location of matches. The picture was created in accordance with the geometric idea of inverted perspective. One of the most famous ancient examples of inverted perspective is Andrei Rublev's Trinity icon. In my humble picture, the perspective convergence point is on the diagonal line in the area that represents the window fragment. The subtext reflects the current situation that I am observing. This is similar to events about 100 years ago. Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
