tai 3 Posted August 10, 2019 Amazing dynamic “Food Request” image, Giangiorgio! Surprisingly, such a large chick commensurate with mom and / or dad is so dependent on parents! Perfectly captured plus a wonderful active background! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

michaellinder 16,612 Posted August 10, 2019 Giangiorgio, the young bird's body language, as others have indicated, is to motivate its mother to provide a meal. But, I see and feel much more in their positions relative to each other. The mother's occupying higher ground seems to convey dominance. Yet each bird's mouth appears to be open to the same degree, which somehow may communicate equality. In the final analysis, though, like other mother/child relationships, their communication may defy interpretation or analysis. This image is composed and otherwise rendered in a way that clearly reflects your style, the care you which which you invest each image, and also the sort of beauty that is unique to the world of wild creatures. - - My best always, Michael - - Ciao! vincentoiseau 83 Posted August 12, 2019 Hi Giangiorgio, wonderful nest picture of these egrets. Young herons are insatiable and their parents have to work really hard to feed them. I love this photo's composition, colors and beautiful 'action'. Very well done, GG! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted August 13, 2019 Grazie mille Vincent for your appreciated comment. In fact in this age the young herons appear larger than the parents that to feed them deprive themselves of part of the food and reduce their dimensions. Link to comment
