hjoseph7
I always wondered why some tripods come with an extra threaded hole to maybe tighten the center column ? Most of my tripods has one. At first I tought I lost the tightening screw that is supposed to go there, but then I noticed that all of my tripods are missing that screw ? AJG
Several of my Manfrotto tripods had the option of a carrying strap that screwed in to a hole in the tripod yoke and had another strap at the other end that wraps around the ends of the tripod legs so they don't go every which way when you pick the tripod up. I always found this to be very useful and wondered why other brands didn't do the same thing.

c_watson1
Yup, that's the way my Manfrottos work. Find an eye bolt that fits and use a dog leash for a strap.
