Jochen_S
Put it on ebay. Whoever pays the dollar & shipping wants it. And if you get more, you can enjoy a meal.
Niels - NHSN
Give it to some charity/goodwill - then it will likely find a happy owner and you can feel good. Niels
John Seaman
To get informed advice, let us know what camera it is -SLR, point and shoot, etc. Even post a picture. For example a Pentax K SLR can be worth 100 or more. Basic point and shoot compacts are worth virtually nothing.

___25
I wont be giving all my private info to ebay just to give it away. or even get $50. local charities do not seem to want old cameras. the garbage dump- would be an awful shame! have owned it since the 60s Edited May 7, 2023 by ___25
Niels - NHSN
Don’t you have a local classifieds with a free to pick up section? I am sure that if you put it out on the sidewalk, someone would pick it up. how hard can it be? Niels

Do you have a friend or relative who is an ebay seller? I see there are three spare lens caps, if you still have the lenses they came with, those could be worth more than the camera. Bettendorf
You could post it in the forum, Member Classified Ads, and offer it for "FREE you pay shipping !" Or $5 plus shipping. After that create a post in this one, https://www.photo.net/forums/forum/30-classic-manual-film-cameras/ stating your dilemma like you did here, and that you put it in the Classified Ads. That way maybe a member who could use it, or knows someone who can, will get some good out of it.
