Uploading Photos to the Forum

When I upload a photo to the Forum(s) it seems  to me that there is some type of degradation of the image even though I have resized it and made the proper adjustments such as sharpening after it was resized. Regardless the colors and sharpness seem washed-out when viewed on the Forums. Is there some type of color-mangement issue I'm not aware of ? Usually I resize the image to 950 pixels ?

Have you tried changing the color profile to sRGB? I find that effective when posting to PN. I generally get the colors of the original that way. There will still be some degradation and some artifacts but you may see something closer to what you're seeing before uploading.
