I alluded to using a Contina to take images in December two weeks ago only to realize later that those posted were actually from the summer (foilage etc ) .. I actually used the same Contessa camera JulioF posted in "Waht camera Weekend"

The weeather here in NRW Germany has been cloudy and now quite cold for weeks... very little sun to inspire shooting :(
So here are a few from the Contessa I shot right before Xmas. IIRC likely had yellow filter. The Contessa was loaded with my usual APX100 developed in D76 1:1

Another Rheinscape

Seems there is a light leak or poor handling (cassettes)  another Rheinscape

Landesknecht Büderich.. a dinner and lodging place

This wasn't big so I had to come in close.. note parallax error.. but RF focusing was good 🙂

@Gary Green ..Really like the tones you got with the middle picture... HC110 eh?  Your caffenol images are good too!!  RickD's images indeed "pop"  I recognize they're his immediately!!

Thanks Chuck.  Caffenol gives more pronounced grain which doesn't really show up in medium format that's been downsized for display here.  It's much more noticeable in 35mm images however.  I shot some Tri-X at rated 400 speed and the images had a really gritty, hard-edge look to them which works well for certain subjects.  For these images I wanted a little softer grain so I used HC-110.

@chuck_foreman1  I really like that 3rd photo ... except for the light leak of course.  I'm also surprised by the vignetting in the images.   Is this the folding Contessa that you're using?  I had one years ago and don't recall this amount of vignetting.

It is indeed.. the vignetting might be related to the filter??.. I probably had a yellow filter.. it fits lots of models IIRC

Our annual car show, a three-day event I look forward to, was scheduled for this weekend. I took a few monochrome images yesterday, but overnight another sub-tropical storm arrived and consequently the event has become a washout, quite literally. It's very disappointing as the big show and shine event that was scheduled for this morning is usually a rich source of images, but here are a few from yesterdays efforts. The camera was a Minolta Alpha 7 with a Minolta 24-105 lens, and the film was Ilford Delta 400 developed in PMK Pyro. I'll number the images to assist with any comments.
