Film Camera Week for April 29

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some images from a roll of Kentmere 100 that I processed and scanned earlier in the week. I used HC110 dilution H and scanned with an Epson V600. Camera was Minolta SRT 101 with Rokkor MD 35-70 f 3.5.

Yes, we're open

ISO 100 with an f 3.5 zoom is not the best for available light but with underexposure I used 1/30 second with lens wide open

another interior with a little better lighting

The weight of the SRT 101 makes holding it steady easy for me. I can often hand hold it down to 1/15 second.

I saw a lot of movies here when this was a movie theater.

One more.

Still like the Velvia 50, even very expired and has that magenta tint. Spring blossom at the Filoli Gardens. Nikon FE2, Nikkor 50/1.2 Ai-S.

I didn't have time to scan them again.. They were at 700 X and directly enlarged them to 1000 X. That is why they have lost a lot of quality. I'm sorry :(

It was not meant to be a criticism. I was just curious if it was your aesthetic choice. :) I used to push Tri-X to 1600/3200 in low light, and have seen similar grain.

Here are a few frames from a first film using the 55mm Panagor PMC Auto Macro f/2.8 lens, mounted on a Canon T90, that I pictured on the "What camera..." thread. So far, I'm impressed. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro.
